As a Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) registered training supplier, we provide training that is supported by CSQ funding.
WHAT IS CSQ FUNDING?
CSQ’s Funding is a contribution towards the cost of training and assessment services. It is available to eligible participants.
Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) is an independent, industry-funded body supporting employers, workers, apprentices and career seekers in the building and construction industry. CSQ provides funding to eligible participants in the building and construction industry.

The Short Courses program helps to provide upskilling and cross-skilling to participants within the Construction Industry in Queensland.

APPRENTICE ADVANCE PLUS
The Apprentice Advance Plus program offers additional training to eligible apprentices and trainees to boost their skills and career prospects. The courses available for eligible apprentices are included in the list of short courses below.
SKILLS ASSESSMENT AND GAP TRAINING
The Skills Assessment and Gap Training (SAGT) program will provide a pathway for eligible participants to have their existing skills recognised and provide gap training to achieve qualifications within the Building and Construction Industry in Queensland.
It is a program for workers and career seekers with significant experience in the industry to undertake Recognition of Prior Learning and Gap Training to obtain a qualification.
WHAT COSTS ARE INVOLVED?
The costs will vary for each participant and for each course. The amount contributed by CSQ is listed below together with the maximum cost to the participant. All costs will be negotiated prior to enrolment together with payment. Costs may be reduced when combined with other courses.

AM I ELIGIBLE?
There are different eligibility requirements for each program. As a minimum you will need to be:
- An Australian or New Zealand Citizen/permanent resident or hold a refugee or humanitarian visa; and
- Permanently reside OR permanently work in Queensland; and
- Work (or have worked in the last 4 years) in the Building and Construction Industry
