RIIMPO318F Conduct Civil Construction Skid Steer Loader Operations
Course Description
This nationally recognised Unit of Competency will equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to operate a skid steer loader to load, haul, and distribute materials. It is applicable to all those who work on-site.
Course Content
This course provides information and training on:
- Prepare for skid steer loader operations
- Follow established procedures when operating a skid steer loader
- To complete a work activity, load, transport and place materials
- Attachments for skid steer loaders can be selected, removed, fitted, and used.
- Move the skid steer loader
- Do some housekeeping
This unit may have different licensing, regulatory, regulatory, and certification requirements. These requirements must be obtained from the state jurisdictions before applying.
Entry Requirements
While there are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, students undertaking this course will need to complete their training and assessment in a workplace environment or attend Landscape Skills yard for practical activities where applicable to fulfil the practical requirements of this course.
