Course Description
This nationally recognised Unit of Competency will equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to operate an excavator to lift, carry, and place materials.
Course Content
- Prepare for excavator operations.
- Operate excavator.
- Material can be lifted, carried and placed
- Attachments can be selected, removed and fitted.
- Move the excavator.
- Perform machine operator maintenance.
This unit may have different licensing, regulatory, regulatory, and certification requirements. These requirements must be obtained from the state jurisdictions before applying.
Entry Requirements
While there are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, students undertaking this course will need to complete their training and assessment in a workplace environment or attend Landscape Skills yard for practical activities where applicable to fulfil the practical requirements of this course.
