Working in the landscape industry involves outdoor work that can be physically demanding undertaking the construction and maintenance of public and private garden spaces and features.
There are landscaping businesses all over Australia. Many are small enterprises employing one to ten workers while others can be very large with forty or more workers.
The work they do varies considerably. Some landscapers specialise in domestic gardens, others in commercial and industrial landscapes. This course includes units in hardscaping (paving and landscape construction) while others focus on softscaping (plant establishment and maintenance).
This course aims to empower and equip learners with practical and relevant skills which increase knowledge, confidence and productivity to escalate business profitability. This course will be superseded by AHC30921 – Certificate III in Landscape Construction
