Although not a formal prerequisite, it is important to note that anyone intending to perform construction work must have completed general construction induction training. This requirement is outlined in the Model Code of Practice for Construction Work. Completion of the unit CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry satisfies this requirement and ensures individuals are equipped with essential safety knowledge before entering a construction site.
