
Course Overview
This course provides the skills and knowledge for work or further learning in the conservation and ecosystem management industry.
It covers roles encompassing site restoration, rehabilitation and renewal and management of rural and natural landscapes, degraded sites and marine environments.
It also covers the contribution to the preservation and maintenance of wildlife and their habitat in the natural ecosystem, parks and reserves. There is also the involvement with and preservation of indigenous culture and heritage resources.

While there are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, students undertaking this course will need to complete their training and assessment in a workplace environment or attend Landscape Skills yard for practical activities where applicable to fulfil the practical requirements of this course.

$8,500 - Training and Assessment
$7,000 - RPL for full course
$7,000 RPL plus $500 per trained unit up to a maximum of $8,500
This course may be eligible for government-subsidised funding including:

Traineeship - estimated duration of 24 months, full time, with a maximum of 24 months
Other: 1 month - 24 months subject to experience
